The story revolves around a young and bewildered Claire McBride, who is on the run fearing her life. Having witnessed a brutal murder by someone who was the last person on earth she would have suspected to be murderous, Claire is confused, frightened, vulnerable, and above all, in danger. While she disappears and is at her wits' end to keep her sanity and life in check, Carter, Claire's best friend, philosopher and guide, has no intentions of letting her go. He is initially baffled at her disappearance but has a steely determination to bring her back at any cost. He seeks help from Adam, his older brother. Facing an array of hap-hazard and mysterious clues, Carter and Adam enter a world where ruthlessness rules all the time and the killers would not give a second thought before slitting their throats. Do they manage to keep themselves safe and also protect Claire, is what the book takes us through.

This power-packed thriller and adventure story was unputdownable and I finished it in one go. I loved the narrative - from two different perspectives, Claire's and Carter's. The plot and storyline were engaging and the pace was brisk and nail-biting. I loved the characters, especially those of the devoted Carter and the solemn and dependable Adam. I loved this book all the way through and highly recommend it to lovers of thrillers and adventures.

The story revolves around a feast of characters - Blythe and DB who are suffering from nasty post-breakup withdrawal symptoms; Bonni, Blythe's chirpy and good-natured cousin; Paolo, DB's teammate and Cori, a friend of Paolo's and DB's Jon, Paolo's half-brother. At an awards ceremony, when all these people are thrown together, Cori and Bonni are irresistibly drawn towards each other and fall in love at first sight. Jon, angered by some exchanges with the couple, determines to break them up. He cooks up scandalous pictures of Bonni and Paolo and circulates them in the students' circles, ruining Bonni's reputation, making Cori leave her with a broken heart. Paolo is as bewildered as Bonni is, about this ridiculous rumour, but neither of them is able to convince that they have nothing to do with each other. The only souls to believe them are DB and Blythe who put aside their differences and team up to help their friends. Do Cori understand Bonni's heart? Does this venture also unite DB and Blythe? These are the questions that the book answers for us.

Wow! I loved this modern take on Shakespeare's super fun comedy "Much Ado about Nothing". The plot is interesting and so was the narrative. The characters are all well defined and their conversations and exchanges in many instances leave the reader with a smile. I would have loved the pace to have been a tad more brisk. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and I would definitely recommend this to all book-lovers!

The story revolves around the young and bewildered Georgies Sayers, who shoulders a very huge burden when she tries to run her family after her mother commits an untimely suicide. Having to undergo therapy herself, her depression is further heightened when she learns of the whispers from her neighbours and town dwellers behind her back about she and her siblings being strange and weird. Little does she know that these whispers have some element to truth to them. When she meets Luke, who enrolls at her school when his school collapses in a fire, she finds him intriguing and terrifying at first. Later on, he goes on to become her confidante and gives her a lot of insight into who her family really is - Georgia and her siblings are special witches with super powers. While she tries to fathom who Luke really is, she also realises that their powers put her family in danger. Not being able to draw help from her step father, she needs to take control of things. Do Georgia and her siblings manage to save their lives and their powers, is what the book takes us through.

I found the plot and storyline engaging and interesting. The characterisation was handled well, especially that of Georgia's kid brother, who is reticent at first when he learns of their powers, and comes up with a surprising twist at the end of the tale. I would have preferred for the pace to have been a tad more balanced. The story flows blurringly fast at points, and drags longer than necessary at others. Nevertheless, I found this to be an enjoyable young adult paranormal read and I would definitely recommend this to lovers of paranormal genres.
